Who operates MicroNotch

MicroNotch is operated by Adam Godsall trading as MicroNotch, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean this operator.

Availability and pricing

MicroNotch is currently pre-launch. This website offers product information, browser demonstrations and a launch mailing list. It does not currently accept orders or payments. Joining the list is free and does not place an order or reserve a paid licence.

The planned price is £19.99 as a one-time payment, with a £14.99 early-bird price for launch-list members or the first buyers. The final offer, eligibility, licence scope and total payable price, including any applicable taxes, will be shown before a purchase is made. There is no recurring subscription charge in the advertised one-time offer.

A one-time purchase does not, by itself, promise all future major versions or lifetime support. Any included updates and support will be described with the offer before checkout. We may change future offers, but a later price change does not alter an order already accepted.

If a third-party merchant of record provides checkout, that seller and its payment terms will be identified before payment. No payment-provider integration is currently offered on this website.

Using the software

MicroNotch requires macOS 26 or later. Some tools need additional permissions, downloads, compatible hardware, accounts or network access. Review the tool requirements and setup information before choosing the app.

We own or license the app, branding and website materials. A software purchase gives the purchaser a licence to use the software within the scope stated in the offer; it does not transfer ownership of the software or our intellectual property.

Use the app and website lawfully. Do not distribute unauthorised copies, bypass licence controls, interfere with the website or access another person’s data without permission. This does not restrict uses permitted by applicable law.

You remain responsible for the content you add, share or dictate and for checking it before use. Keep backups of important files. Browser demonstrations contain example content and do not access your files, microphone, clipboard or accounts.

Connected services

Optional connections, including music, weather, sales and coding tools, depend on third-party services. Their accounts, charges, terms and availability are separate from MicroNotch. A MicroNotch purchase does not include paid access to those services.

Code mode capabilities vary by provider and connection. MicroVoice supports English and requires a model download. Ask Micro requires a supported Mac with Apple Intelligence enabled. Features may be affected by changes to macOS or connected services.

Our privacy policy explains local storage, optional connections and the information processed when you use this website or contact support.

Cancellation and refunds

No payment is taken by this pre-launch website, so joining the mailing list does not create a purchase to cancel. You can unsubscribe from launch emails at any time.

When purchases become available, consumers buying digital content online may have a 14-day right to cancel from the day after the contract is made. For an immediate download, that cancellation right can end only when supply begins after you have expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel. These terms do not obtain that consent or acknowledgement on their own.

Your rights if digital content is faulty, unfit for purpose or not as described are separate from a change-of-mind cancellation. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to repair or replacement, a price reduction or a refund under applicable consumer law.

For a cancellation, refund or fault, email support@micronotch.app with your order reference and a description of the issue. Where another seller processes the purchase, we will help direct the request to that seller. Nothing here removes your statutory rights.

Your rights

We will take reasonable care in providing the website, software and support. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every third-party service will remain available.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing limits the rights and remedies you have under consumer law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you retain the mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in your home courts that applicable law gives you.

We may update these terms and will show the revised date on this page. Updated terms do not retrospectively remove rights relating to a purchase already made.
