AI & business

Small things. Thought through.

Provider allowances

Check allowance information where a supported provider makes it available.

Local activity

See supported local activity readings alongside connected information.

Connected balances

Check API balances for supported connections you set up.

IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR DAY

A familiar moment. A little help.

Before a longer session

Check the available allowance or balance for the supported provider you plan to use.

Work across more than one tool

Look at supported readings in one place while keeping each provider’s different measures in mind.

INSIDE THE NOTCH

How to use it.

  1. Open AI Usage from All tools to see the supported readings available on your Mac.
  2. Review the relevant provider setup in Settings → AI monitors. Add a supported connection only when you want its readings.
  3. Check the provider’s displayed allowance, activity or balance. Readings are not the same for every service.

A familiar way in

Hover over or click the compact notch, use the menu-bar icon, or press Control–Option–Space. Search tools with Control–Option–K. If a shortcut is already taken, check the active shortcut in Settings.

Pin a favourite from All tools for quicker access. More about opening the notch

When the notch closes

You can close the notch between checks. Reopen AI Usage and review the available readings and their freshness; do not treat a hidden panel as a guaranteed live billing feed.
