How to use it.
- Open Converter from All tools in the notch.
- Choose the conversion category, enter a value and select the units you need.
- For currencies, refresh the reference rates with an internet connection and check the displayed result.
A familiar way in
Hover over or click the compact notch, use the menu-bar icon, or press Control–Option–Space. Search tools with Control–Option–K. If a shortcut is already taken, check the active shortcut in Settings.

When the notch closes
Converter works when you need a calculation. Closing the notch does not leave a conversion session running in the background.
